Yikes, where to start with this below report on CNN. If this doesn't illustrate the problem with the media today I just don't know what does. I wonder if anyone remembers what fawning coverage CNN gave the Tea Party movement just a short year ago? Well view the video below and see my post from last week regarding the phoniness of this Coffee Party movement.
It basically is just an organized branch of far leftists. There is no moderation in this bunch as the gentleman Kevin Zeese suggests in the CNN report. As a former Green Party mouthpiece and current board member of the shady leftist organization, Velvet Revolution, he doesn't seem all that moderate. Look your right to assembly and say whatever you like is a protected right under the Constitution but don't play yourselves off as some sort of "moderate" non-partisan answer to the Tea Party. As if the Tea Party is partisan. My goodness Republicans would love to have those types of voters in their corner every 2 years, BUT as I have illustrated (so have many others) the people making up that movement are majority Independent along with disaffected Republicans and Democrats. The larger issue is of course the left bent media in love with them, like they are the next enlightened "community organizer" that they haven't done their homework on.

You know Ocho, it's pretty funny that people leaning to the left can't seem to have a movement that compliments their right wing counterparts. As far as the media goes it comes off as either watered down and boring (Air America) or douchey (Keith Olbermann.) I think there needs to be a an opposing view, but when the perception of your party's member is weak then they are just perceived as shrinking violets. I'm pretty left on most issues, but I can't take having Michael Moore or Susan Sarandon as my spokespeople.
