Coulter's Ottawa speech cancelled over 'public safety' fears

Those that proclaim to be keepers of free speech (liberals) are full of shite, they only protect speech that agrees with them. I also love the fact that she filed a grievance with the Human Rights Commission in Canada. That should expose them for the rank hypocrites they are. I am not a huge fan of her brand of satire but, it is funny some of the time and provocative ALL of the time. Can't imagine Bill Maher getting a reception like this, more like red carpet treatment. The double standard continues.

UPDATE 3/24: From the Ottawa Citizen - After protesters at the University of Ottawa prevented Ann Coulter from giving a speech Tuesday night, the American conservative writer said it proved the point she came to make -- free speech in Canada leaves much to be desired.

Then she said what she really thought of the student protesters who surrounded Marion Hall, making it too unsafe, in the view of her bodyguard, for the pundit to attempt entry....
